WASHINGTON LIONS CLUB

The Washington Lions Club currently has 173 members who live and work in the Washington area.  Eleven members have over 40 years of service to Lionism and 15 members have over 30 years.  But Washington Lions is growing with 5 young members in their 20's.  Almost 20% of Washington Lions are women with two having served as president.

Washingtion Lions Club was chartered August 28, 1939.  With Dr. R. F. Zoellner serving as the first president.  Washington Lions is a family with several father and son/grandson, husband and wife, brothers, in-laws and other relatives all joining as members.

The Club has members active in the Zone, District and State Lion organzatons. Lion Marvin McAdams is serving as District Governor and is serving as the #2 Lion in the state--Vice Council Chairman.  Many other Club members are serving in a variety of district cabinet positions.
