Street Signs
In 1962 the street signs in Washington were of mixed design and some were very old. The Club voted in January 1962 to undertake the task of buying new street signs with Lions International logo on them. We have not counted the sign posts, but we know there are approximately 350 street names recorded with the City of Washington's street department. With street signs at all the cross streets, that makes a lot of LION EMBLEMS thru out Washington. MO.
