WASHINGTON LIONS CLUB
Remembrance Trees
The
estates of two of our LION members have made substantial monetary contributions to
LIONISM. In an attempt to remember these LIONS, the Club has planted remembrance
trees in their names.
Lester H. Vitt has 21 years of service from 1956 thru 1977 and chaired many
projects.
Elmer G. Knocke has 26 years of service from 1972 thru 1998 and while his health
permitted,
he participated in all of the Club activities

Lions Bill Boyd and Leroy Eggert plant red maple tree overlooking Lions Lake.
