WASHINGTON LIONS CLUB
| The
Washington Lions Club is composed of men and women who live or work in the
Washington area. These LIONS were all invited to join our Club because a
fellow Lion thought they would be an asset to the Washington Lions Club thru
their service to the community. The Washington Lions Club currently has 179 members, with 9 members, each serving Lionism for over 40 years and 10 young members in their 20's. Also the Club has welcomed 32 female Lions. Our Club was originally chartered in January 1933. That charter was lost and the Club was reorganized and chartered on August 28, 1939. The first president of our Club was Dr. R. F. Zoellner with 36 years of service. Another charter members, John H. Feltmann has children and grandchildren in our Club.
